My client who runs a fireplace construction company might want to translate his site into English and he was wondering if he could use the same company name just spelled with English characters.
The company name is Ochag. The word doesn't mean anything in English and most probably is not used by anybody, but the question is more what it associates with for an native English speaker. Do you like or dislike it? Why?
I would very much appreciate your help. Thanks.
What it sounds like in English?..

How is it pronounced? Oh-Chag? - Aw-Chag?
Anyways, any name is a good name as long as it doesn't offend any potential customers. There are plenty of names of companys that the name... well it just didn't seem like a real word and no one knew what it was at all. Such as Gerber - the baby food company. What is a Gerber other than a baby food? -- alternative french dictionary = gerber (verb) †to puke, barf, hurl........ gotta be carefull and do your research make sure that Ochag doens't have any slang terms ect in other languages.
just my 2 cents
