Hi guys,
when there are no ideas and sit staring, what do you do get inspired and have some ideas?

It is really individual, but for me there are usually two variants.
1) Just listen a music and let my mind fly away (sometimes even going to sleep helps like Dskwkrs already said).
2) Looking totally different or nonsense fields. For example if I need to design a bottle of beer and I don't really know what kind of pattern I should use, then I might get some inspiration on the streets looking car's taillights.
Inspiration is everywhere!

Very true, I often get ideas when I'm driving out or at a random place. If you're always looking for inspiration, you'll find it.

something that works for me is to fundamentally change what I'm doing, if I'm listening to classical music or rock vicebersa change.

I think soundtracks always help with the inspirational mumbo jumbo.

I just had an idea while reading this forum,
why not write all the thoughts whenever you get them and then refer to them in the time of need.

try meditation, get silence, empty your mind that has very limited knowledge and let your higher mind comes in. Its always come with brilliant concept yet very simple, however the CH might not always like it. design is subjective after-all

you got to be happy in life.. you got to set your mood. have a full tummy.. yoga could help.. you could also think about good memories that pass by.. or just simply think of the reward if you won, or the bills you have to pay, that is why u have be creative..

I draw random lines on paper, after some time I start finding random shapes that lead me to solution. In the see of lines there is always something that catches your eye. Go on and try it..it is fun!

I always listen to music that i like when i'm looking for new ideas, but if i can't get inspired i try switching to new music i don't know, or that i wouldn't usually listen to, or that is somehow related to the style of design i'm working on... that usually works!

I usually go for a walk or watch a movie to get inspired. Capturing random inspiring moments on camera helps too! Keeping your inspiration in your memory is also a tough task, personally, using apps that can pack text, images and videos together (eg. Evernote etc.) is top priority.
