My name is Chris, I'm from Massachusetts, and I'm currently a Sr. Graphic Designer, as well as a freelance designer/artist. I obviously enjoy art and design, but I also enjoy Tae Kwon Do, riding my motorcycle, and spending time with my wife and family.

I joined DesignContest.net about a month ago, spent a decent amount of time surfing through the threads, yet today is the first day I've actually posted. I think the site has a really interesting way of having new designers join, or at least even allowing them to enter into the contests. It makes sense, but of course is discouraging to new members who haven't met the requirements, but I completely understand how, and why, the process is the way it is. Regardless, I look forward to getting some of my work online to share with everyone, and as soon as I do, I will certainly post a link to my portfolio.

Thank you, and I look forward to working with you all in the future!

Welcome, can't wait to see some of the projects you've worked on.

hi, Chris! Welcome to DC!
Yes, you have to make an effort to be accepted to the Elite Designers Team. But as you will see it all makes sense. We are really proud to a great team of high skilled designers who understand that respect to other members is an essential part of working in community.

Thanks, resurepus. I like the fact that the site seems very professional and not a place for some joker to go and try to ruin it for everyone else. I wish there were more respectable sites like this one.

So I've spent almost every free moment I've had over the last couple of days trying to get a decent portfolio together that shows a variety of my work. I will continue to update it over the new few days, but feel free to check it out and let me know what you think so far!

Thanks!
