Greetings Ladies and Gentlemen

I am at last going to submit some entries to DC after a number of years of browsing the contests. This may be more difficult for me than it normally ought to - as of recently my computer monitor stays on for a mere one second before going dark. The search for it's replacement has vigorously ensued!

I am relatively new to this vocation having gone back to school in my mid forties after being bitten by the Photoshop bug when a friend installed it. I've just turned 50 & have been typesetting for 7 years. Not much in the way of accomplishments yet but I hope DC will change that. Perhaps it will also help with the distractions of single life in South Florida.
