Hi Hazel -

You don't have an "Edit Avatar" option in the left column? I checked in the Admin panel, and there's nothing set in there that should be blocking you from having an avatar. I believe that the only requirement is that you have to have 20 posts before you can display an avatar. I'll have resurepus check it out for you.

well "sis", sorry but you'll have to wait then until resurepus comes on because I can't find the problem at the moment.

Yes, that's true, you need to have at least 20 posts to enable avatar. Now it should be there. Please, inform us if you have any other problems.

Why is that rule that you need to have 20 posts to enable the avatar?

Considering that DC server host the avatars of all members, will be a waste of space(and bandwitdh) to host avatars from people that just visit once or twice the site. So, 20 is a reasonable quantity of posts to prevent it.

Thanks, Ruben! Besides, I don't think people who come here just to post a single message would need an avatar that badly.

Bit off the topic: Where could i find a tutorial or some guidelines for making logos and banners ?? Until now i only used my imagination nothing else :))

Ahhh so that is why I couldn't get my settings to change, makes sense though...
I'm glad another newbie asked so I didn't spend anymore time trying to figure it out.
