I have come accross Yellow Icon Design and thought I'd share the link with the community. It will be interesting for you if you want to learn to create good icons and even if you are an experienced icon designer you will still find something to learn from your competition.

Holy...cow...Yellow Icon is truly a group of highly skilled individuals who have a great passion for what they do...Such a great range in their portfolio.

They nailed clean and shiny contemporary design. Although I don't think their stylized approach would work for every situation (thank goodness), it is definitely eye candy. Do you think we will see more of this style? Just curious: What some other trends in design that you have noticed?
