This piece is a visualization of an old phrase told by many mothers to their daughters regarding piety (or chastity to be more specific).

Think about any expressions you may have heard regarding free milk and cows....

Unless, of course, you are not from America. In that case, you may have never heard the expression depicted here in your life. If that's the case, let me know and I will explain.

Don't get i and the design have several different styles going on which is very disturbing. Everything is drawn in a different way. The cow fast drawn with a brush style, and missing white and also don't look like a cow at all. The milk box and the parachute are two different styles which does not even mix. It looks like that several people made it instead of one cause of the different styles.

I think I get it... It's in regards to the phrase "why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free" Its something said to represent marriage the cow being the woman and the milk being sex... yes?

Daniel - you got the idea.... it was a quick exercise to visually express an idiom. The idiom I chose was "why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?

Chung - I did the whole thing in like 15 minutes, it was just a quick exercise, as I just mentioned. Even if you don't like it I'm not really sure why you would find it very disturbing? That seems a bit extreme for some silly art.

brian - Why so harsh? Not necessary.

Finally I see the idea! Thanks for clarifying Daniel! :)

Actually I think we have the same expression in my language, but I don't think I would get it from this image - here "why buy it" seems to refer to the milk, not the cow...

Good point, I think you're right, actually.
