The car and the phone are amazing, u definitely r a pro. When I was making photorealistic wasp it took me months, and by the end I totaly lost the enthusiasm. Maybe I wanted to make it too real or its just was too complicated for the first try. Whats your story.

I think one of things I had to get past was even though the images I was re-tracing look round or have shape to them. I had to veiw each section as a flat object. just going piece by piece. That why it very important to have a picture that is in focus. When I did these I was on a mission and my mind set was "I CAN DO THIS".
There was this guy that I use to chat with and he did some of the most amazing photorealistic images I have ever seen. I can't remember his name it's been awhile. His approach was using the gradient mesh tool by starting out with a circle and moving that shape around to the shape that was needed. Like maybe the shape of a woman's face.
I'll do some searching to see if I can find his website. He was very helpful and a super nice guy.
