TypeRight Feature
What if we create our own fonts and typefaces, but cannot own it or
anybody can use it, does it make sense? I knew some letters can be registered as a text-logo, but the whole complete alphabet cant be.
or is this advantage to us designers?
.
FONT cannot be copyrighted...

Strict law could highers costs of online designs.
But on other hand if you create nice font at it is copyrighted that is another way to make a money. I think fonts cost to much nowadays. I think in the future there will be big microstock sites with fonts and you will get them at very low prices. And you will buy exactly what you needed.
It should be one simple licence for both commercial and private usage.
Thats my opinion. If copyrighted than with maximum simpleness & clarity.

There are already many sites that offer free fonts that people have designed. I think the world just has to realize that the idea of sharing our work is inevitable. If not it will be duplicated and shared for free and only the trained eye could see the difference.
Then again does it take a long time to creating fonts? I have never done it myself.
