Hello everyone, I've been a member since 2007 & this is my very first post (As somehow I never received the account verification e-mail back then), so I figured a Hello was in order now that I have access... :)

Hey there, nice to see another San Antonio person around : )

What are your strongest design skills if you had to order the top 3(logo, print, web, code, etc)?

Thanks or asking, Actually I eliminated all my web design & coding related services a while back as they were my weakest. I was also spreading myself to thin offering a buffet selection of services, which ended up cutting into my bottom line (Revenue).

My strongest skill set & my main focus is 2D Vector design - "E.G. Logo, Illustration, Mascot, Caricature" in that order. I'm a versatile designer so I can easily design for both web & print media. I have the capabilities to provide over 79+ different web/print file formats via cross platform conversion techniques which retain all quality of the layered vector files.

My largest client base demands for print media first & foremost & web as a secondary. So i suppose when you break it all down, I try to think "Brandable" with each & every digital pencil stroke on my graphics tablet, the whole "Less = More" mentality for the most part, unless there is a specific request for attention to detail, such as my Illustrations, mascots, & caricatures.

My process is simple:

1.) Hand sketch the concept using a digital pencil tool freehand.
2.) Clean up the lines/paths using a digital pen tool.
3.) Add color
4.) Make any additional adjustments
5.) make sure it works in black & white as well as monochrome
6.) Present the concept on my pre-designed sample layout
7.) watermark it with the actual design concept iconical element for personalization.
8.) Feedback / questions process (Repeat if needed)
9.) Revisions process (Repeat if needed)
10.) I normally deliver in all the main industry standard formats (E.G. - .Ai / .Cdr / .Dpa / .Pdf / .Eps / .Svg / .Wmf / .Psd) as well as a few main rasters in assorted sizes (e.g. - .Png / .Gif / .Jpg)

Hope that answers your question, I may have gone a little overboard in explaining it though :)

Good info. I asked because I occasionally have collaboration opportunities and such. I will let you know if anything comes my way.

Networking is a wonderful thing, after checking your main development / design site out I see that your main focus is website design & backend (Cms) development. The things I no longer cater too, so it might actually be a good fit If I was to send a few over to you in need of those services (Future reference)

Thanks for showing interest :)

Ya, I recall that thread as well, I believe I also participated in shedding some light on his subject matter. His reply to me on that thread indicated that he now understands a little better, so I can only hope that he too may experience the wonders of networking, even though it's not his bases for being here. :)

Double posts? Not sure what you mean, can you provide an example to help shed some light on it for me?

Thanks :)
