as for the actual portfolio you have some good logos... and then some logos that need work. I like the "FoodVending" mark and color and the fonts ok... but I really don't like the dots in the O's... I like the "Dot.Ink" mark. the "My Break" is interesting and very well done. I think what would help the most is if you designed your logos only using black and white... and then thought about the color (of course this depends on what the logo will be used for too.. but I'm just traditional that way ) Hope this helps and keep up the good work!

I think some of your text or font choices could have been better and saw a couple kerning issues (this is my week point as well though LOL). But overall some solid work there.

Keep the good work. As a suggestion, you can refine your curves in some ways.
Good luck and if you have time check out my deviantart place, I would aprecciate it.

It's also interesting to see how your tastes are so different, I see every designer here has a personal identity. I found many sites where the 'new cliches' of graphic were the only style accepted. I don't like works which are all the same! I love evolution.
As for the creating process, I usually sketch down on a note my idea (which can come in the most inexpected moments. Like, while you are washing your dishes or in bathroom, we all know!) Sometimes I think BEFORE about the colors than the logo. I don't really know if this could be a correct path, but I will learn with time.
I liked all your galleries as they were very original. I repeat, I like experimenting. I see you are all not stuck with a style. Waqqas's style is very dreamy sometimes. I believe with time your work will be very easily recognizable around. Geko's very clean, I like also people who work very 'square', if I am explaining what I mean. In fact, I change very often between these two different worlds and am quite hard to find a balance.
I believe I saw also Coy's logopond I remember a clean type but creative, something close to what I am trying to achieve.
Thanks for all then. Don't worry about being rude, you can tell me whatever you think about my works. Infact on logopond I am quite famous for getting comments like "I see a whale here! What the heck has it to do with the brand name?" etc. But logos can be abstract also, people tend to forget this.
Cheers and thanks for looking!

love that last statement. alot of people want some sort of letter or spacific image to show their branding. When alot of times a simple great looking abstract shape would work just as well if not better.

@Coy, exactly. I want to create something more original than usual -food for restaurant, -car for car sellers, -cd for music producer. There are so many illustrative logos out there it would be impossible to create something original with these basic ideas.

I had trouble with the "Selektive" logo, since I hadn't understood the whole arrow concept at first and I think it is also rather difficult to read.
Other than that amazing work.

I completely agree with that quote, and I think you're going in the right direction by trying new things and continuing to evolve. Why be boring, right?
You've got some great logos in there. My personal favorites are MyBreak, NetBrains, and Play Fish. You have a good mix of typography and graphic logos, which is great.
@iTL: The advice about the kerning is great! Thanks for sharing I'm definitely going to give that try.
