I've been put in charge of making the t-shirt design for my family reunion for next year, and I thought I'd bounce my ideas off of some of you :)

The family name is Huhn so that's why reunion seems to be misspelled.
Also huhn is German for "hen" so that's why the chickens.

Also, while I'm at it, may as well bounce my idea for my personal site off of you guys too...

Feedback appreciated :)

not bad concepts although i feel the bottom mbleigh logo's are a bit plain try to make the icon looking like most of you're new work that i see in the gallery :)

also that top family reunion one i think is the best of the three..

and that filter does work nicely on them gives it an aged, kind of old t-shirt look :)

Wow! Very nice designs :) Out of the family reunion designs, I think the first design is the best. They are both really great designs though. The filter adds a nice touch to the designs, giving it a T-shirt design kind of feel.

As for your design, I have to agree with Cloetick and say that they are a bit plain. Maybe it's just because I'm not such a big fan of script fonts. I've seen some of your work around here at DC, and you are a very talented designer. I'm just saying that the design is good, but compared to some of your other outstanding designs, I think your design deserves to be the best of the best.

Overall, keep up the great work. :)

First of all I love the first shirt design... the second is alright but not as good in my opinion.

As far as the website, the script font for the logo isn't bad but maybe you could add a bit of a personalized touch... like a star (something not as cheesy as that but you get the idea).

I don't like the cursive links at all though... it's very hard to read long url's in cursive - especially that font. Maybe you could try the "Coming Soon" in cursive and the url in all caps.

Other than that, pretty good :)

I am drawn towards the first t-shirt design like everyone else. I'ts really nice. As for the website, I really like the design. I think for the style you have there which is quite minimalistic, you dont want to run the risk of overcrowding it. It does need some more added to it, but as a base coat it looks really nice! good work

I think the first t-shirt design works well, but the second might be more of a conversation starter. Since it gives less info, you'll probably get more questions about it...I also like the simplicity of it.

Was that a filter you used to get that weathered look?

I really like the website design a lot...kinda has a 50's look.

The cursive might not be that much of a problem since I'm assuming it'll be linked to the sites mentioned and people will just click on it anyway, rather than trying to type it out.
