Base on my experience Cinema 4D is the best, especially in dealing with the tools and commands ..they are all organized. It is user-friendly compare to 3D Max & Maya.

Hello All...

I think 3Ds Max is the best for an animation or interior/exterior design.
I've using it for 5 years. it very easy when you know well the modifier and tool.

for rendering I'm using V-Ray, Brazil Rio and Final Render... They are the best render engine i know...

regards,
Steven.

I agree with eonites

3DMax is excellent software to create 3D models as well as animation.

to find out more
autodesk - 3ds-max

also you can learn a lot here (3Dmax, maya, Cinema4D, Blander, V-Ray, Google Sketch up, etc.)

I use MAYA and 3Ds MAX.Both programs are great! Most of the options in 3ds Max similar with Maya. But your choice depends on what you want to do in 3D...

owwww.... I envy you guys talking about 3Ds works! Honestly, I didn't try any you mentioned above. I heard and read a lot about reviews for those software but I end up confusion on what to use. Anyway, I want to try at least one, what would you recommend before buying one of these software - buy a teach yourself book/ebook or hire an expert to teach me? Thanks for your help!
