I was wondering if anyone has experience with a Fujifilm S2 Pro digital SLR camera: Posted Image

I have an acquaintance who is a pro photographer who is selling his S2 to upgrade to the new S3. It seems like a pretty good deal, although I'm not sure exactly what all is included yet. I was just wondering if someone has experience with it and has an opinion - yea or nay.

Thanks in advance,

Hey Perry -

I don't know anything about this camera in particular, but check out the user reviews at Epinions here - might help a bit.

Looks like it has great features - and certainly is pricy enough :) We just bought a Panasonic Fz20 Lumix - with 5megapixels and 12x zoom. Best feature we found is the image stabilizer which really seems to make a difference in the images.

There is a huge and excellent digital camera review site: www.stevesdigicams.com for this camera there's a 6 page review (http://www.steves-di...reviews/s2.html). If you look at the very last page, it shows that certain serial number models have an intermittent electronic malfunction that could render the camera inoperable. Again, read the last page (6) of the review for this issue.

steves-digicams is great, since you didn't know about that, you probably don't know about http://www.dpreview.com .. it's another great camera review site.
It's always good to read several different opinions
