Precious Medals...Good as Gold

Don't you love opening your email to see a message from Design Contest: "You won a contest!" How exciting! All your hard work paid off (literally). But, wouldn't you love to receive an email letting you know you've been awarded the silver medal or bronze medal? All that glitters isn't necessarily just gold!

Think it would be possible for designers to be notified by email that they've been awarded with medals for 2nd place and 3rd place?

I really would like to see that also. I know that the first thing I do everyday is check my ipad to see if I have gotten anything from DC. And If I would get a email letting me know if I won or if I got second or third will always help me get out of bed a little bit sooner....lol

Good idea I will send this to the developers and see what they say!

@Squewheet~ That is funny...I always check my email on my iPhone first thing in the morning after my alarm goes off to see what the day will bring! LOL!

I realized I received a bronze recently and I didn't know for a while. Not complaining - nice surprise! , but I wasn't even sure what contest it was from. The medal showed up at the top of my page, but the actual design that received the bronze has not showed up yet on my page since the contest has not been totally finalized yet with the winning designer. I had received the email saying a winner had been chosen for that contest, but I had no idea I placed 3rd until I noticed the change on my page the next day.

I have it noted and will talk about it in our meeting in the morning

Makes my week evertime i receive DC contest notifications saying "You won a contest!"
