I think that it makes sense to put the arrow, the arrow indicates direction and sense,it is a subliminal message. this logo is a courier to send packets to different directions. it is right for me!!!

CorelDRAW does have a couple of mesh (fill and transform) tools:
Check this video out and let me know what you think

Very nice video , very very skilled designer especial because he works without of sample.
