Hi,

are they really all free or do they have any restrictions such as "for personel use only"? I don't want anybody to sue me...;)

"for personel use only": dafont is a good choice.

Hi,

In the site from where you download the font you already know if it's free.
After downloading, with many fonts comes a READ-ME file with specific indications with what you can do with the file for free. Sometimes for commercial use they include only selling the font itself, but are free for design usage. Some don't allow changes in the font. Sometimes free, means free for some usages only.

Anyway if you use the font in a design by mistake and you couldn't, you can ... buy the font... :)

Font squirrel is a great place, bookmarked for sure. Thanks for the good links.

a question about google fonts, are those licensed for commercial use as well? or just personal?
[edit] aha forgot I was in a "free fonts" thread, I meant more specifically if any font on there is, or just some.

Hi there I've heard that some fonts are free for a limited time and then youll have to buy them. Also it's not easy to keep track if they'll not be free therefore you should nt use them
