Been a member since the beginning of July.. So far, one Silver and one Bronze. I agree with many of you have said, you have to keep up with the clients expectations. So many great designers here, it's quite enlightening to see the talent. Makes me work harder.

SJkelly07 5 Bronze in 2 months you are well on your way. It took me a few months before my first gold. You just need to keep at it and you will end up winning. Here is a good article that really explains the small things we do, Not to get that winning design. silly-mistakes-logo-designers-make

as for me i do not remember when i’ve won my first gold, although i like the new system, but it seem like very hard to win a gold medal these days, the CH can extend the contest for numbers of time. make it harder to win, especially when your entry is leading:)

I had my first Gold Medal on my 3rd Contest that I entered. I just received my third Gold Medal today!! 
It's a great feeling, especially when there are so many other great designs out there!

I won my first gold in the first month after I joined in the 2nd contest I entered with 10 entries to my name. You could imagine how shocked and how excited I was to receive the email "You won a Contest!" I've been on DC for a little over a year now and I'm addicted! 
There are so many talented designers on DC and I enjoy seeing all the different and creative solutions to the same project.
