1. go to Settings, About phone , Battery use to see what is using your battery power. Most of the time the biggest powerconsumer is the display.
2 if you don’t have access to 3G or don’t need extra speed, ask your device to use 2G networks only. Go to settings->wireless control->mobile networks- >use only 2g Networks.
3 Reduce your display brightness. Go to Settings -> Sound & Display ->Brightness and adjust it to the lowest brightness you are comfortable with.
4.If your device has an AMOLED screen, always use a black background. AMOLED screens can reduce power usage sevenfold by displaying black instead of white or any other color. When searching on your phone you can also use Black Google Mobile at bGoog.com to get standard Google results (including images) all in black [3].
5. Set the screen timeout on your phone to the shortest length possible. Go to Settings-> Sound & display -> Screen timeout
6.Turn the wireless feature off when you’re not using. Go to Settings -> Wireless controls -> WiFi and turn it off
7. Turn the Bluetooth feature off when you’re not using it Go to(Settings -> Wireless controls-> Bluetooth and turn it off
8.Turn the phone vibration off. Go to Settings-> Sound & display-> Phone vibrate
9.Do not leave applications that you are not using running
10.When you’re not using the phone put it on standby mode .
