In my opinion, this is the best upgrade as of yet. So many new useful features and many old, irritating things have been fixed. Here is a brief list of things to get excited at:

  • Super fast! (You seriously won't have to wait for ANYTHING!)
  • New flexible interface
  • Inline editing in panels
  • New ability to package files
  • Unembed images
  • Create seamless patterns in seconds
  • Enhanced image trace
  • Add gradients to strokes
  • Gaussian blur enhancement
  • Color panel enhancements
  • Transform panel enhancements
  • Type panel improvements
  • Dockable hidden tools
  • Control panel enhancements
  • Transparency panel improvements
  • True white canvas color

Plus, if you upgrade as a Creative Cloud member, you get updates as they happen vs. waiting/paying for another upgrade :)

Well, the traceing is not so fst for me, was faster and better in cs5.
I like gradient strokes though. -)

Love the 'gradients to strokes' addition. Dont see any tracing tool differences. But its definitely super fast. Thanks for sharing!

I think I've used the gradients to strokes the most of the new or improved tools so far.
