ATTENTION TO ALL, becareful of deleting your previous entries,

deleting of previous entries on my public folio doesn't affect rating points but it does affect numbers of medal.
I accidentally deleted my bronze medal entry on

Film Production Company: Breaking Ground Films seeks new creative logo

then it is gone including the number of awards on the landing page Logo Design, Web Design and other Graphic Design Contests
on the top designers section. mine supposed to be 35 awards not 34.

do we have a chance on putting it back again? or maybe just the number of my bronze be back again just like how rating points stays the same after deleting some previous entry.

please fix this.

deleting of previous entries is the way how to protect yourself from being copied by others. the gold awarded entries are obviously copyright. means no one is allowed to remake or copy it. while silver and bronze awards are vulnerable to any of the thief designers. =) so its up to you to decide if you choose to delete them.
HIDE them if you can. is there a HIDE button? hope this will be included on the update of the site. hide without losing the number of awards.

Thank you.

Please forgive & allow me to say this: my first impression of people deleting their design is because they wants to recycle the idea for entering other contest. Am I right?

Hi jpbituin,
thanks, your honesty has added me extra knowledge to my design work, i am not going to worry about thief designers interested on my design work, although i’ve got a lot more to improve on my skill. to me, I would find a method to generate new design idea rather than recycle it from old.

I have just followed in you footsteps, clear up most of the previous designs from my portfolio to protest them from thief, but I am not likely going to recycle it:)

I think you're right. Because I'm guilty! ;-)

it’s your own work, you have the ownership to use it anyway. if you insist on new creation, you be improved & more competitive :)

There 3 reasons why I do it - first one is what you said previously "recycle" or better say redesign; second reason for safety from copycats;
But there is a catch with that "safety" - if I delete it, I deleted a proof then.
while third reason would be as I simply do not like my design, I am ashamed of it:).

As I take it even if you got a medal lower then gold. Your still able to use that design for future contest. So you really wouldn't have to delete that design. And normally when you re-use a design you don't use the design in the same way as did for the other contest.

I like the idea and fact you guys can rid your portfolio of contest works. I don't like contest holders reporting or calling saying hey whats the deal I am paying for original and this designer has this design in this contest.......
