I'm 18.
Been interested in design for a very long time. Started as a rookie web designer when i was 12. Became quite skilled at both front end design and background scripting when i was 16. Started learning illustration around the same time for the fun of it. Currently a student of architecture and a serious illustrator, after joining DC.

two years to learn typography, color theory, layout,
two years to learn technology, Illustrator, Photoshop and the rest of Creative Suit,
one year- creative problem solving, business practices, customs & procedures
lifetime- creative style, technique, technology update, client psychology, ethics, vision
time frames may overlap:)
