I just received my mac mini in the mail and had adobe cs6 suite installed on my computer. All the programs are fine except for Adobe Illustrator. When I go to the program the icon has a white cross on it. When you click on it it says

"You can’t open the application “Adobe Illustrator CS6” because PowerPC applications are no longer supported."

I checked apple website and it says you need to contact vender for an update. I have been all over adobe website and can find no mention of this problem or how to address such a case.

I need help, please.

I don't know crap about Macs but it seems you have a compatibility issue from using old hardware and/or software and/or OS. If there is anything like Windows Update for Macs, you should try to use that. Otherwise you would need to contact Adobe for this issue.

lol sounds like your not using the right CS install...
I am a true Power PC user and am trying not t upgrade to the intel chip... The main reason I have sticked to mac all these years is because of this... Altho the intel chip has more capabilities I stick to the PPC version.

So you have to be sure you have the right install disc... May say mac 10. 5. 8 { the last version of PPC os} but it usually means 10.5.8 intel and not PPC... It is safer to find a universal version " Super Rare" which will find the correct version to install.
