I have multiple photos that I am running an action on but each photo is replacing the one before using the same file name. instead of using the original file name. So I end up with 1 edited photo!!! from the action!

This is happening using cs5 I have not encounted this before.

Any ideas?

When you are recording the action, do not change the file name that it puts into the file name field by default.

So you would hit the record button, then do whatever to the photo, then go to File -> Save and that's it. Or File -> Save As -> choose a different directory and that's it.

Also make sure that the photos you have originally are separate files.

Sorry if this is all obvious but I've never had this problem with actions before.

Like Diab mentioned, do not change the name of the file while the record button is on... this will always save over the previous file.
