Metalocalypse is a great parody of Black Metal band and how ridiculous they can be. Funny cartoon and a must see on Adult Swim (I watched it on youtube).
Honorably Mention, Robot Chicken (not really a cartoon, but stop-motion animation). Damn funny since they show itself is making fun of pop culture

all sorts of great cartoons listed above! but i must add foster's home for imaginary friends to the list. it's a newcomer, but the animation is just beautiful... even if you don't like the actual show (i think it's hilarious), you have to appreciate the artwork.

I am a true toon head. I watched Toons with my mom now I watch toons with my little ones. I still love the oldies, Pink Panther, Tom and Jerry and my all time fave Woody WoodPecker. If only I could find Woody on TV.
