To create a black and white picture while keeping some color using Paint Shop Pro, do the following:
1.From your PSP, go to the File then Open.
2. .browse to the picture that you want to change, then open it.
3.Enlarge the area you want to keep the color by clicking the Zoom In button.
4.Select the Freehand Selection Tool. And hold down the left mouse button, and trace around the section of the picture that you want to keep in color.
5.Now click Selections and select Invert.
6.Select the Effects tool and click the Photo Effects and then select Black and White Film. Click Ok.
7 .By now, your picture should be black and white, except for the area that you selected. Go to Selections and choose ‘Select None’.
8.You can save your picture now.
