I only have Flash and Fireworks, and yes, you can make vectors with Flash and save the single frame as .png's, if you were wondering. I hear the Illustrator really whoops Fireworks though, so I need to get my hands on that...

installed fireworks - didnt like the interface so I uninstalled it directly ...
