Line tool - change pixels to points , how ?

like in Font - Font size can be in pixels or points.

Ohh ok. I thought you mean something like "points on a line"

But yes I don't know if it's different in CS6. But in CS5, choose the line tool, and at the top menu bar you will see that you can type in the weight of the line you want. Just type "pt" after you set the weight and it will now be in points. So 36 points is "36pt".

I hope that is the answer you are looking for :)

I assume that you're question is for Photoshop. Go to PREFERENCES > UNITS & RULERS, then in the TYPE dialog box, change PIXELS to POINTS. Hope this answer your question. Same thing in Illustrator. Just go to PREFERENCES > UNITS & DISPLAY PERFORMANCE then change the type from PIXEL to POINTS.
