Read the brief and the comments. A lot of info can be found in the comments of what CH likes and doesn't like. As the contest progresses, sometimes CH will reveal pertinent info about their company and what they are looking for in the comments that is not found in the brief.

Try to understand that the client very rarely knows what they want. so be patient, do a lot of research, ask for feedback.

Simple design,
which include maximum 2 color (if is not strictly recommended something else) in combination with/without neutral colors (black and white).

Read client requirements carefully and then design your first concept, show to client and do modifications as per client needs.
