I'm new to Illustrator (been using Photoshop for 9+ years) and am looking for some tutorials that specialize in texture and depth.

Stephen Looney - YouTube not sure about most of his tutorials, but i know there is a 26 episode series of 10-20 minute videos, going through the alphabet designing a logo in illustrator cs6 for each letter. with a quick critique of the logo before step by step, very simple, very professional, and very helpful! hope this is of some use.
