Hi,
I'm wondering If I get paid from a contest win, do I need to declare it for tax as income?
Hoping someone can shed some light as I don't want to have a tax bill in the future.
Thanks

I think it depends where you're from, or where you're living. In the UK I believe you have to pay tax on it, if you're over the personal allowance. Normally, competition wins are exempt unless they require a level of skill which these contests obviously do. Best to check with your tax office though.
