How was this possible contest being won Logo Design #159 by mevector for YOUTH SOCCER CLUB NEEDS BOLD LOGO THAT POPS with a flagrant copy of the UEFA logo CHAMPIONS LEAGUE Uefa Champions League Logo Wallpaper - 1280x800 pixel Wallpaper #11743 @ FreeFever, this was one of the greatest frauds I've seen here. Apparently anything goes!
Someone controls this type of situation? Or these guys are allowed to do whatever they want? Just say it, do not fall at all well above all is the image of the design contest that is at stake.

was this reported? I did not see this reported anywhere? How are we to take care of this if it is not reported? ANd this is over two yrs old! The design you have listed as the source was uploaded 2013...please check this before stating this is the greatest fraud here or anything goes. We have no way to prove who copied who. The person creating the source you listed may have copied this designer over two yrs ago who knows............

Zounds,
yes the star ball has been copied
. Still, you and other designer have to know - admins and mods can not fight alone against such a things, don't expect that. Designers have to be included very much so. Are you going to let someone win in front us with stolen or copied design?

I think DC works hard to deal with copies. A recent contest where a copy was declared winner resulted in the designer being banned and the contest being reopened. Copies are removed daily and infractions and bans given accordingly.
This one is a blatant copy - the champions league - The only annual sporting event that often has higher viewing figures than the superbowl! The champions league logo pre-dates this by many years - it was introduced in 1992 I believe. I guess the magnitude of this copy is what has provoked this response.
It is unfair to dig one out of the archives though, if you look through the back catalogue of any crowd sourcing site I am sure you will find copies such as this. Now that it's been highlighted I'm sure that any action that can be taken will be.

The winning entry has been taken care of
I still say how in the world would we know or find this now? The other thing I myself am not into soccer so I would only go with the uploaded date of the source. this source was uploaded 2013, this was contest was over two yrs ago. so how are mods and admins to know this? This is why "you" the designers are so very important in copying and stealing cases like this. DC does not allow this and will never allow this
