I need to create a rounded box with my name on it in the center. the box is divided into two upper half and lower half. my txt name should not be a txt but a part of the box only.

I hope i explain it well :)

Hoping replies from top class designers!

Hello SAMDesign :) do you want the rounded box and your name to be the same shape?

Like this?

For text you will have to create outlines for it to be one shape.

1. select your name>Type>Create Outlines

2. select rectangle and name>Window>Pathfinder>Minus Front

I love Adobe products. One reason is there are SO MANY ways to accomplish the same thing
