Question... I know there is a rule against using the same logo in two open contests. I just saw a case of this and made me curious. Are you allowed to use the same logo in two open contests if it's been eliminated in one?

The same design Can't be in two open contests and expired mode would be considered open becasue a contestholder can still choose it as a winner.

The reason for this rule

The contestholder in one contest can choose a design as a winner, a different contestholder from different contest can choose that same design as a winner

This is not fair and illegal to sell same design to tow different contestholders according to our terms of service and copyright transfer.

When you win a contest and sign that copyright transfer agreement form you sign over all rights to that design and no longer own that design, so you have no legal right to sell that same design : )

OK after babbling a bit what contests and entries are talking about?

Well I wasn't up to get anyone in trouble or anything. Truth be told I thought that was the case, but the reason I even asked is because by happenstance I recognized it in two contests I've entered and it was a designer I've seen a lot of/won a lot of contests on this site– so I just thought there might be some exception with regards to elimination. It was one #140 in Mitchell Sandham and #43 in Trachtman Law by eximius.
