Custom Font Lovers > Help! ^^

Hi contest partners !

I 'm working on a freelance project (not a design contest one) and i'm pretty stuck in my custom font work.   
 

I'm not totally satisfied with some part of the design ( the "sea" part ) and i need your advice and tricks to tweak and enhanceg this design for a perfect balance.
It's a brand about sea equipments ( all for boat stuff like shoes, jackets, waterproof phone case, furnitures )

font looks great! But for me, connection with K and S is little bit confusing, and connection on lower part of k and s is not smooth enough. 

Maybe you can make K&S separate of each other (I like K swirl)

Font for .com is not so great, maybe you can some other bolder font..try to fix spacing between letters and move it to letter A

As Operhal said about connection KS is key for me as well. I would not connect them at their lower part. I would try S to go a bit lower the K, toward left. 

And I do not like .com font you choose there. Overall, it looks really good.

On the whole i like it.

I personally like the connection with the KS, however what Operhal said about it needing work is correct.  The connection needs to be defined more precisely so that it is easier to understand.  I find it hard to put into words what needs to be done so I drew a picture:

I hope you can see what i was trying to illustrate,  I have smoothed out the bumps and have also defined the connections of the letters more so that they are easier to distinguish from each other.  It is still not 100% there but I am lazy

This is the main issue but I would also suggest that you take look at the letters e & a they don't match. I think the counter for the letter a should be a touch higher in relation to the e. I am also unsure about the kerning(for want of a better word)  it is looking a bit like P i c KSea to me.

I agree with the .com critique given, font should be bolder, simple, more round.

GJR's "KS" would make a nice logo by itself
