Rating Points

Hi All,

Newbie here, I was wondering how to obtain/get rating points for level up?

Is it the same rating points that my submitted entry design get?

The rating points from your highest rated entry from a contest will be added to your profile once the contest ends.

You also get rating points when you win medals.

gold=800

silver=400

bronze=200

Did the rating points increase for medals? I thought it was GOLD = 500, SILVER = 300, BRONZE = 200 ?

Hello, I have a related question I wanted to add to this thread if you don't mind. I'm wondering how/when the points are received. In this case, when a contest expires, when do you get your points? I assumed you got them when the contest expired if you had points at that time, but I believe I assumed wrong. So I'm just wondering exactly how that process works. Do you not receive your points until a winner is announced? What if a winner is never announced, how do you receive any points you had in that situation?

Yeah i'm guessing not, participated in few myself, (not as many as you), but i still haven't earned any points

The points are  added when the contest is closed, not expired, it has to be closed and finalization is closed as well.  No points if the ch doesn't rate. We strongly encourage clients to rate entries

Lets say you have 3 entries in the contest rated like

#123  95 points

#456  75 points

#789   30 points

When the contest is closed you will get 95 points only

Any medal will add 100 points as well. To move up to   5th level ( I think it is)  you will have to have won a contest
