Alright.. I might have a project in the future and need to know how much someone might charge for something like this. I might be able to have my brother do it for free, but I it all depends on what is involved.
Right now.. this is what I know.
I will need someone to create a web based "forum-like" database kinda thing.
The client wants to have a site where a person can get a user name and password and be able to submit their information. There will also need to be a search engine and maybe a few other little things.
So, this thing is really pretty basic. I would be doing the actually design and she doesn't have a big budget.
If you are a programmer or have any information about something like this.. post or shoot me an email about how much something like this would cost to program.
Thank you!

What language are you looking for it to be coded in? If it's either ASP.net or PHP, i can help you out. What information would they be submitting while logged in as a certain (user and password)? And what would your search engine be querying for?

I am not even sure. I don't know a lot about programming. I am strictly design. I guess the most common thing I could relate it to .. is like a dating site (even though it is far from a dating site). People would be able to submit information about themselves, who they work for, where they are located, etc.. How much do you think something like this would cost? I need to be able to integrate it with the site I design which I don't think would be a problem at all considering it will be a rather simple HTML design. Can something like this be done with ASP or PHP? If you can, message me on my AIM account: whitedrakedotcom and we can talk further.
Thanks!
Thanks!
