So .. let's see how we are doing in web design. How would you rate your design skills?

- beginner
- medium
- advanced

.. with all the lack of modesty I am capable of I would rate myself as advanced since I kinda did everything in this. I am a freelance designer and also work at a firm where I take care of the same things ...

How are you?
:p:mad:

Medium. Can design great layout in both html and flash. No exp in PHP MSQL XML. If the website got no log in or special archiving system I can make it easily. Or the layout or special codes are given then I could implement them.

However I am a fast learner and very up to date with new web trends. At the moment learning 3d internet implement that my design school does not even teach.

I call mine advanced. I am a webdesigner so I mostly design websites. I still code them in valid xhtml/css but don't do much with php/mysql since I am not a programmer...

I would say medium. I design web layouts in xhtml and other simple things but i have a lot of pressure because of school so i can't study for web designing too.

I'd be pushed to say advanced with regards to coding xhtml css and I'm very comfortable with javascript php and mysql.

However I'm still not happy with my design skills, which need to be developed a little further.

I would say advanced beginner -- I know a lot but there's so much more that I have to learn. My job focuses on print design so I don't get as much practice with web design as I would like.

Would call myself advanced after doing quite large projects for impressive clients.
Am well experienced in Flash (graphic and actionscript), experienced in Photoshop. Developing in html (+ css, xml), php & mysql.

Currently learning ASP(.NET) since that's what my company uses as serverside language.
And recently experimenting with After Effects and Premiere too! I know my way around in those titles, but still beginner there.

Beginner. It's something I'm really interested in working with and can use Flash, Dreamweaver and Muse. No problem with designing, though coding is not my greatest skill but trying to improve. I believe everything is becoming more digital. Luckily I got a friend who is great at coding, but suck on the creative part so we tend to help each other out.

I'd say maybe medium/advanced? I have been paid for webdesigns before, but I'm certainly not as good as some of the sites I see around. I also code them in HTML 3 / CSS 5 where possible, and tamped with any PHP/MySQL stuff if they have it X)
