The rough letters make it seem kind of like a war effort (or something). Is there some purpose behind that style?

There is not any major purpose of that style. It is a international club with people from all over the world so I tried to put purpose on that and I just like that style of letters. Personaly I dont like name JAW that much but that is the official name of group made by "president" :-) so I had to respect it

it's cool.. i like the text for Jaw. But the kerning where the W is is a bit off. Bring it closer to the dot after A and bring the dot after the W closer so that the spacing looks equal overall.

Thanx entz I agree... good call. I will do that. Yes the names of countries are maybe too bright but I cannot change a color because it wil cost more to print. We decided for three colours and when I tried to put it i orange it wasnt good. Smaller or thinner font style didnot work either and I like the calculator digit font there.

It looks nice, maybe just downsize all the big text a little. :)

Its great!

How about apply the rough look of the J.A.W. text to the paw mark as well.

I'm just kinda off with the scriptina font, it seems too fancy for me... other "handwritten" font perhaps.

Just expressing my opinion. But Overall look is cool. ;)

Cheers!

I like 'world' in handwriting style and color matching (orange & gray) is good, but rough font make it look so aggressive.

Don't you think the design is to much wide? I think left side of design may be in the armpit area.

Grphx, I don't think that is the actual proportion of the design. Its just an illustration on how it would look like in a shirt. ;)

Thank you baiskee for your suggestion. :)

But when I design T-Shirt or other clothing I have to use the real scale. Because it is customer's expectation.

Good point. Maybe MikeWA would consider your comment about that.

And btw MikeWA, I would like to raise the layout of the countries... make sure to consider that some people wear their shirt tucked in.

Based from the posted design... I think starting from COLOMBIA or GUAM downwards is not visible anymore.

Rough look of the type J.A.W is not matching the expression of an exchange student club. otherwise design looks good.

have you tried doing the name countries placed side by side in a horizontal fashion underneath the the word jags. To give the shirt more free space for it. Or if you want you can have it at the back. Just my suggestion so your main focus will be the jags logo. I like the usage of colors. Grays, orange and blacks is a good combination for me.
