Hey! The photoshop is a very good program, if you want to create a spectacular picture. It looks like very nice on the sreen. The difficulty is starting when you want to use this logo anywhere in bigger size, or in case of tampone-printing. Therefore the pixel-graphic programs are not a good choice for logo-design. Use Illustrator, Corel, or Freehand softwares.

It's simple, you just have to be very correct presicion to trace because you may seem tedious, but at least I perform logos from Photoshop. It is a program which I love. Illustrator is recommended to trace and create logos but what I'm concerned I love photoshop.

Hello. I wonder whether you can use Photoshop to create banners? Is it possible to use only vector editors? Thank you. Aktivale
You can Create Banners Using Photoshop and u can use vectors. I guess the Vector Shapes in Ps Cs6 can give the desired result for the banners

You can always use PS for logo, but the thing is, you need to deal with lots of layers and sometimes it gets confusing especially if you're not used naming each layer. The best way to create a logo is through Illustrator. Once you know PS, it's easy to use Illustrator.
