Used them both I think Illustrator would be the winner over Corel.

I have used both of them. At first I started with Corel Draw in 2004, but then I noticed that the main difference was the compatibility between Adobe softwares, after a few weeks I got used and I found Adobe more interesting because:

- Compatibility between Adobe softwares, clients and printing works.
- Faster
- More up to date with effects and design tools
- Old versions in MAC

I donÂ´t think I will go back to Corel.

im not an anti-corel designerl. but i use illustrator more.

i think it depends on what design you are going to do.

but illustrator is better in making vector designs.

Hei I started in Corel. So I feel at home when i use Corel. But for color perfection and compatibility with othe adobe products such as photoshop freehand... No doubt illustrator wins...

what you prefer?

I choose coreldraw because it's easier for me. About quality of design, I think the most important is the designer itself, not the software. But I have to say that corel still have a lot of weekness/problem.

defenatly Adobe products is better, for many reasons, and one of them is that it's Adobe,
but in the end in both beautiful things can be made , or not
