That's what i wanted to hear! a feedback from somebody who tried both programs (Corel Draw and Adobe Ilustrator), because most of the designers here are working in one of the programs but didn't try the other one. And of course for them the best program for vector is the one they are using!

Illustrator all the way! Might take some time to learn, but its worth the "sacrifice" and after u know it its like walking in the park..well not realy since you always have something to learn with such a complex program, but you knwo what i mean

Vector program is just like a pencil for artist. So, any program is good for you, each program had disadvantages and advantages. I recommended you to try CorelDraw and Adobe Illustrator, both of them is good software. CorelDraw more simple and easy to use for beginner and have many feature that use for editing vector. AI is software that most professional use and have interface like Photoshop. Just try and decide.
