I think you should keep working on coreldraw for logos, as it's a vector based program, if you want to use any of adobe software for logos adobe illustrator is recommended, Photoshop is based on pixels and you wont be able to resize your work for many uses if it's created using PS.

and also you should submit your work to logo contest in vector formats..

Good luck

It's better vector graphic for logos, client can then use your design in big size, but quality is still very good. I use Photoshop only for photo editing, retouching and photo manipulation, because photoshop is done mainly for working with raster graphics. I recommend you stay with the creation of the logo in CorelDraw, or try Adobe Illustrator.

Hello. I wonder whether you can use Photoshop to create banners? Is it possible to use only vector editors? Thank you. Aktivale

Photoshop to create logos?

As long as they are in shapes...
Why not use Illustrator, instead, same, same...

A smart object is just a copy of an original image... it's still a raster image, not vector.

YES, you can do banner on PS. becuze you preset the size you need for the banner. and you don't need to change it again usually, so you can work with PS and of course if you needed to add some photos or so, it's PS that you need to retouch/ edit this photos.

vector editors can work too with no problem and you get the advantage of resizing (if needed) but only if the banner doesn't include images that would lose quality if resized. you enjoy the vector effects ..But for me i like PS's effects better for banners.

you should continue to work on coreldraw and you can export your creation for photoshop extensions later. You can find lots of photoshop tricks and tutorials over the internet, learn them simultaneously.
