As a graphic design student, the pathfinder tool often goes unused by most of my peers. It's such a hidden treasure within the menus of illustrator and people are always amazed when I show them how to use it. Definitely one of the most underrated timesaving tips. Thanks for the post!

Exactly! These are the types of things that usually don't get covered in college design classes (unfortunately). I've been encouraging my classmates to join this site to gain more experience so hopefully they'll take a look at these helpful hints too!

Yes, I agree with Jane, these tips are great, there is so much to learn after college. You don't cover half of these tips at all.

Wow, so most of these I'm very familiar with, and use on a regular basis... but #1 has just opened my eyes- How did I never know that after years of working in Illustrator! Will be using this regularly. Thank you!
