the * *(asterisk) look out of place......
and the type needs some major kerning...but I really like the interlocked ad....

+ I also like the interlocked a & d.
+ The colours seem to me, very suited to the name and look of the logo. Well done.

At first look, I saw some real potential in the logo, But I really must agree with guetizo, this is really very similar in nature to what has been done.. Though I believe all good ideas come around again and again, i.e. the swoop for an example, I mean how many ways can you really make a swoop original, this design is so close it makes me wonder. Just my two cents...

I agree with the others that the font is a little weird - maybe some other sans serif font would look better. Also, I like the little ** because they're like snowflakes but they need to be reworked/incorporated into the design - maybe play with those; put them as dots to the 'i's... something.
Also, the interlocking a/d is too far from the rest of the logo. You might want to try playing around with enclosures if you want to keep them distant - like a box around the entire logo would make the symbol and wording come together. Or, 'box'(not necessarily square or rectangle) one of the elements and bring them a little closer together.
Keep playing! You'll get it.
