Most contest holder's pay between $499 for the initial webpage and $150 for each extra page needed. This price includes both the designer's prize money and the Design Contest fees for commission and handling.
What if I need coding as well as the design?

How many website designs can I expect during the contest?
This will vary, mainly depending on the designer's payout. In an average contest, you can expect around 20 designs depending on the complexity of your design brief.
Can I prevent the contest from showing up on all web search engines?
Absolutely. All you need to do is make sure you add the Hidden feature to your contest when you are setting it up. This will stop anyone except pre-qualified designers from seeing your contest.
What if the design I want as my winner needs more modifications?
After your winner uploads the source files to your contest page, please post comments asking for any modifications. The designer will then reupload the source files until you are happy with the final designs. This usually takes 7 days.
After the contest is completed, can I get more pages or additional features designed for my website?
You can start a one on one project with your original winning designer or another that has caught your eye by hiring them from their profile page. To find their profile page, just add the designer's name to this url, www.designcontest.com/designer/[designerusername] - from here there will be a hire button.
