Thanks prabhuganga, that's what i was asking. So in fact, you post your logo when it's print-ready?

almost...
it is said that a winning design should be layered and there are more kind of files needed...
but while designing inorder to upload previews,I dont follow that path...
It still is "print ready",but not the way to upload a winning design(I never had to do that coz I havent won any contests yet...) :p

My answer is almost the same as the answer @ Pavian. Because I am not good at drawing, I more often find the idea of my thoughts and wrote directly applied in the computer. thank you all

Sometimes I have to draw first on paper, but in some logos the idea just make 'click' and is very easy to trace it on computer.

It depends on the complexity of logo. When designing a clean, simple symbol and a letter logo, I always sketch. When designing an emblem or a complex symbol, I begin directly on cumputer.

If it's more complex logo I like to make sketch :D If it's something simple I do it in software instantly.

I have an sketch book where I draw what I want. When I have no idea about new logo or design I start drawing with a pencil. Then I go to my PC

I always keep a notebook in my back pocket and sketch out designs before transferring them to vector format

Does anyone create thumbnails or sketch using their computers? Over the years I have bi-passed sketching by hand all together and do quick thumbnails on the computer. I find that it allows me more flexibility and makes it easier to revisit old ideas.

But I think sketching without Graphic Tab isn't so easy.
