lol... A month or so ago I bought my first laptop and has allowed me to greatly increase the amount of time I spend working on my amature design skills... in the beginning I ran into this site... i was amazed... then disapointed when I read about the lengthy application process... So on my quest to build my portfolio I ran into 99designs so quickly after finding it I began taking part in contests and was enjoying it... during this time I was thinking that designcontest.com should follow their lead and drop the process.... and now yesterday another "designer" was called out for copywriting infringement and blamed me for revealing it (which i didn't) but the designer then changed their screen name to amagfx (which is mine) then stole my avatar and went around started arguments with other designers and contest holders using foul language and staining my reputation.... now I am worried about losing any chance in the contests I am currently involved in... and my name/reputation is stained... so now I understand the importance of the application process... it is well displayed through the professionalism displayed on this site...

thank you DC

Too bad that happend, there are always people that do bad things.

Yeah we look out for people who copy of others design. During the contest also make sure you don't make things that looks close to others designs. You always get a warning for that. And if you have made a direct real copy of an excisting logo you can get banned.

We want to have a healthy professional competition here. But here we exclude people to keep the level high and professional.
