CS 5 have more features than CS 3. CS 5 is a bit heavier than cs3. before installation should look after the spec of PC.

Upgrade!
Well... ther is no HUGE difference between the CS5 and 4, no great gaps there. But between CS4 and CS3... HUGE DIFFERENCES, starting by the improvement of the contrast/brightness command that really makes one hell of a difference in photoshop

I would say the greatest difference would be the ease of centering and aligning things together in illustrator and indesign.

Photoshop CS5 is more intelligent than cs3 but my colleague still wants to use the cs3 because of the user interface.

The Truth of it All
There are some major differences between CS3 and CS4. Particularly in Illustrator with the gradient fades in transparency. As for CS5, it was mainly created when Windows 7 came out. However, recently I discovered that in CS5, it can help you create AP programs. Originally Posted by no1000words
