Hey all,
I was wondering, can we start pruning the contest comments as we would forums? I see many people just saying "About #8 - New one" "About #9 - New look" and then sometimes just now comment at all, just "About #10 - __"
This is making it distracting from meaningful comments from other designers, and also meaningful feedback from the CH.
Just a thought.

I understand one designer's need to bring attention to own work, specially when asked for certian revision. Well, meaningless comments do not distract me, not sure for CH:)... But I would highly recommend a short description if commented - including myself, not that I'm an angel:)

I recently drew attention to a new design but only because the CH had kindly awarded points to so many people, I wanted to get my design visible from page 1 of the competition. I otherwise don't see the point in explaining a concept, shouldn't the design speak for itself!

If the comment contains brief info about the design then it should remain, if the comment is to draw attention, asking for feedback/revision request and so on then it should be removed. Designers can ask specific questions about the contest to clarify something or get a little more info.

There is no problem to leave a short description about your entry in the comment box area. A description ield with your entry is not an option like it was on the old site.
please read the rules regarding comments Rules for Commenting in a Contest Page - Powered by DesignContest.com
Comments not following these rules will be removed and if the comments rules continue to not be followed infractions will occur
